Office 2007 Compatibility Pack

The Office 2007 applications are all based on Open XML format, which means the whole way in which your Office applications save files has changed to reduce file sizes, improve your chance or recovering damaged fles, and make it easier to share your files in a variety of media, for use in numerous ways. To make sure your Office XP programs can open, use, and save files in Office 2007 formats, Microsoft offers a free Compatibility Pack (now in beta) for download.
